Description
Sakura from Fate/Stay Night.
This was a commission for a friend. to be exact. She was super busy with her Rydia costume cause is has all sorts of crazy details and BEADS (and it turned out AWESOME) and I was unemployed. So it worked out.
It's made out of a Casa satin, cotton, and satin ribbon. It looks super wrinkly on the dummy because I had to pull it super tight on my dummy. My dummy was actually bigger than her and I was really afraid that it wouldn't fit it I didn't tighten it up. The costume was supposed to be form fitting. :/ It was a simple dress, but it took a lot of pinning and taking in and sewing ribbon that just ate the time away. To make the dress a form fitting as possible I took the dress in everywhere ribbon would go. So that way I could hide the seam with ribbon. That took a lot of chalk and pinning to make sure everything was lined up right. Then finally sewing on all the ribbon. And for the life of me I couldn't get a couple of stripes of ribbon going up to the collar to lay right! It's a straight piece of ribbon trying to make a curve so of course it got all ripply. GRR!
But said she loved the costume so that's all that matters!!!

This looks so awesome. I can tell how much work went into this. Great job!
